Mariana Morillo started her volunteering activity

Mariana Morillo from Spain is going to India today with our ESC Humanitarian Aid Volunteering project “HAND” of EPEKA, which is the coordinator and the sending organisation. Mariana will work on empowering adolescent girls and women health, nutrition, and wellbeing of the poor tribal population in Odisha in her 9-month long volunteering activity that our Indian partner, Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association (OSVSWA) will be hosting. She will also participate in activities to increase disaster preparedness, rapid response and recovery capacities in disaster-prone areas at local level in Puri. We wish Mariana good luck in all these assignments.
